Black Screen Issue

I was able to play this game fine till couple of days I've been getting these "Not Optimum Mode" on my main monitor. After a minute or so my screen goes to black. I ran this game just fine without any issues before..

Other games play just fine and I found out its just this game that causes it. I tried DDU nvidia drives and going back to old ones. I also tried monitor drivers, and verifying files for the game..nothing seems to work.
I was hoping maybe you guys have any ideas? Or maybe a fix?

GPU: GTX 980ti
CPU: i7 8700k
RAM: 32GB

So you are using dual monitors to play? Ever think of just using one to see if the problem persist?

I am but I don't have any room on my card for HDMI so I'm using my onboard gpu for my second monitor

I tried unplugging it and it still persists. I am reinstalling the game at the moment, not sure if it will fix it but I'm trying everything.

check the monitor settings and make sure its the same as your desktop

I have. I checked nvidia control panel and windows display settings. Both are set at 1080p at 60hz

and the monitor itself? using the physical buttons

ok, i may be drunk but did you try just ONE monitor and have it set correctly in nvidia control panel? then try the game again?

Yes I checked the monitor settings with the physical buttons in the back. It's still 1080p 60hz.
I will try once more with one monitor once it finishes redownloading. It will be awhile, 2 hrs. I will post an update if it still persists

i also run two monitors with no issue, but on the same card. why are you out of space? high end cards usually come with 3 hdmi 1 dp

I am not sure. I have to check the back of my card again..I am a bit of a derp when it comes to computers.
I looked at the back..I think it comes with only 2 HDMI and 3 displayports. Not sure if I'm looking at it wrong

it should fit, you probably just didnt find the right hole. the hdmi ones can be a bit tight.
