This actually helped!
I changed it to those above and
Vsync off, ( some settings I tweaked like fur quality to high and decals to ultra along with AF to x16( always tune it to highest, no fps hits really , but great for details).

and from 50-65 fps I went to over 70 and less stutters indeed, and +10 fps in benchmark giving regular of 76fps.
I also disabled Full Screen optimizations in properties.
SPECS:
1440p
Vega 64
Ryzen 5 2600x
16gb RAM
SSD

Crash wise, never had any crashes( until I enabled Allow launch from Administrator, and disabled it right away).

But I agree that they should fix whether the graphics settings in-game or optimization of the whole game, right now it's unacceptable.
I have 60+ stable fps in Metro Exodus with all settings on High(Where in RDR2 I have to set half of them to Medium), and graphically it looks quite more demanding than this game.
OP, which driver version are you using? Please don't say the latest because someone's latest driver could be month old and they've forgotten.

If you can provide the number that would be great. 441.xx

Thanks in advance.

Wow. I'm getting 60-65fps for the first time. Visually, it looks great. Can't tell much of a difference so far.

The only thing I changed was TAA because I hate how muddied it looks. I tip my hat off to you sir.

TAA is like FXAA but makes graphics blurry, don't ever use that crap on PC
Only fxaa(or msaa and above) or turn off AA as whole

I have Ryzen 5 1400, GTX 1060 6Gb, 16Gb RAM.
Tried Nvidia Experience setting first, it downed the graphics to low and i had 55-60 fps ingame.
Decided to try this config. It downed me to 45-50 fps but graphics are WAY BETTER. I'm sticking to this one for now. Thanks for the tip!

Yup! No offense to anyone but I can't stand those two AA methods. 90% of the time, I don't even use any AA.

In RDR2, I'm not using any AA. I like how crisps and clean it looks.

I don't know why, but without TAA the game looks sh*tty and buggy as hell. Like, all of the objects edges are pixelating and floating. And it fixes only with TAA or MSAA (but MSAA messes drastically with fps, so i'm forced to use TAA)
