rdr online cross platform?

My friends play this on console (ps4) and have been trying to get me to play for awhile now, but i'd like to know if i'm able to play with them should i buy this on steam for either co-op or online.

It is not cross platform with the consoles

Nothing mentioned but people already use controllers with auto aim so maybe.

It's not cross play with consoles, some people are just more accustomed to controllers with these kind of games, such as myself.

Yes. All PC players play together. All PS4 players play together. And all XBox players play together. There is no crossplay between platforms though.
