Mixed Review? Are you kidding me?

I already bought the game on the PS4 as well as the PC version from Rockstar. This is probably the greatest game ever made. How anyone could give this game a bad review is beyond me. Its a massive game, incredible moving story, near realistic graphics, and overly just a lot of fun.

Chapter 2 - Quiet Time:

in this extremely riveting (cough) and all action packed mission (cough) you ride into town with lenny and get drunk at the local bar in valentine. but fear not for your fingers catch a break during the small amount of FMV scenes, in this mission...

with a clip of the mission itself via a youtube link so people could get a good mental idea of how boring the missions mostly feel like...

the game doesnt wanna play ball with some of the gpus refusing to launch at worst, being genirally stuterry at best

its optimization could definetly use improvements

You obviously didn't read any of the reviews... the reviews are not about the game itself but are about technical issues regarding even booting up the game.

People are having problems launching the game because you need to use the Rockstar launcher and in the consumers defense is indeed absolutely ridiculous.Why do i need to buy a game from a launcher and then have to play it from another. If you at any point in time swapped your email address for a different one the R* launcher won't read your steam account and tell you to ♥♥♥♥ off.

Let me see... crashes, the game not even starting for some, poor performance in good PC's, random disconnections from the servers, bugs, glitches, people with problem with RGL, the game's overall just a cowboy simulator, dull and gets pretty repetitive sooner or later. Idk, there could be a million reasons why it has mixed reviews,

I purchased the game on the launch day on Rockstar launcher..I have an AMD based system...Had no issues at all , even before they released that initial patch that fixed most of the issues on launch..Runs very smooth on my RX

So you looked at the general score on the steam page and made an immediate assumption of the audience instead of reading the reviews. Let me guess; you're an avid metascore user too, right?

I read all the negative reviews and for one reason, to see if there are issues that are popping up on a regular basis. That's the only reason I read the reviews. If 20-30% of the reviews say the same thing, then i know there is legitimacy to it. IF the reviews say multi player or coop isn't great, I can ignore those because I don't care about those. But the fact reviews are mixed don't bother me, so you shouldn't let it bother you.

This game is snail paced, so if some gamer played just Fortnite-like games, it sure is boring for them. They don't/can't enjoy graphic(that is a platitude for them, they don't even bother with graphically bad game), story, narrating, they want arena stuff, just lots of killing, looting, quick to goal.

But i guess most of them gave it a bad review just for unability to start the game through steam. Through 2 clients at once i guess.

This is why Steam created the anti-review bomb tool. The majority of the negative reviews aren't related to gameplay, but are instead complaints about crashes or the necessity of the R* launcher. The issues with crashes will likely be fixed sooner than later, but most people wont go back to edit their review.

The "anti review bomb" tool is created against review bombs, it hides both positive and negative reviews during a certain period of time in which offtopic reviews are detected, launch time reviews remain

Because people have degenerated into ungrateful man babies who are partially responsible for the destruction of the videogame industry. When you port a console game for the PC, there is going to sometimes be failures at the launch day, and all you have to do is be a patient normal person and wait for a simple patch. Programmers are not perfect. People are not perfect. All you had to do was wait a little bit and see if the developers addressed the problem, if not , THEN you make a stupid rant on Steam complaining about your product. I cannot stand Americans..... They are such ungrateful minions who complain about little things because they have this perceived notion they need to make a scene and complain about every minor and trivial inconvenience.
They are they same people that go into Burger King and complain about their stupid disgusting polystyrene hamburgers not being made the way they wanted it. Then when they are done eating, they don't even wash their hands and immediately go onto their computer to smear their greasy hands on their keyboard and make a stupid rant about a simple game having a minor launch issue, instead of being grateful that this game came to PC and Steam finally.
