Red Dead Redemption 2

Game is locked in low-res textures
Everything looks blurry even on ultra settings. Honestly the game looks better on my PlayStation 4. What gives?

It seems Ultra setting for Texture Quality fixes this problem but ı'm not sure

then again I did that trick posted above the problem eventually came back, I think game have somekind hard lock in ground textures or perhaps developers did lazy work on textures related to ground roads and grass

I ended up setting it up to Medium and moved on, there is nothing else I can do and I do not want to use Ultra because that overheats my GPU (55c-60c in seconds, possibly more in longer play)

But ı agree low textures looks disgusting

Depending how old your GPU is, even 80C constantly is actually really good and well below the thermal limits. As long as your GPU does not go over 95C you should not be worried at all.

Thats the first place I also looked on Google upon a quick search, there is posts about this on reddit from like a year to november, I'm not even sure Rockstar aware of this problem,

Mind you Ultra for Texture Quality partly solves the problem, you still have blurry glossy textures
on roads and grass, its nothing like on ps4, they are not sharp textures by any means on PC,

Even if you set to pre built in settings to Ultra/max by moving the slider to the right you will still get these broken textures, something they messed up and needs to be fixed.

Yes, but I will be playing this game for like hours(4-5 hours) in every 2-3 days, isnt that a lose in terms of lifespan?

if you have Nvidia and Geforce experience make sure it isn't over riding settings.

hardly, most hardware dies quicker when underused instead of fully utilized.

There is also somekind makeup visual bug on female characters, like lipstick and eyeliners are not strong/visible enough and lip color is out of her face, lipcolor stays at upper lip instead of full lip, I also read interesting things about this one too on reddit, I even read male characters got lipstick colors somehow in past,

my female characters does not look any of these videos on YouTube people doing, there is a person literally created Yennefer from Witcher 3 in RDR2 meanwhile my character look like a potato. Rockstar really messed up this release on PC in my eyes.

Also doesn't help that character creation takes place in the most dimly lot room that doesn't reflect the lighting in the game at all. Or that your character's facial animations look absolutely terrible in cutscenes or when performing emotes, which you can't test during creation.

That room was full black and white and there was some pink coloured weird lines when I first started the game, then installed the 441.34 hotfix from NVIDIA problem went away, however texture loading still a problem, in some cutscenes and basically everywhere textures and objects load very slowly, I got this issue on Battlefield 5 as well months ago, I fixed it by turning off the "Tripple Buffering" or some setting close to this name. I also turned it off in rdr2 as well, helped a bit but not much. Fact is it supposed to increase image stability according to the description but it does exact opposite.
