Steam Overlay Bug.
Just encountered a Steam Overlay bug in Read Dead Redemption 2.
The overlay is opening, but not closing. Even the Mouse is not detecting any click on Overlay. Screenshot Shortcut key is working, but Steam Overlay key isn't responding.

Need a Bug fix ASAP.

There is a Steam update that was released recently that apparently fixes this.

My Client is Already up to date. I updated 20 minutes ago apparently.

Only thing further I can offer then is for you to change the keymapping in-game. There are some conflicts between in-game keys and those used in the Steam overlay.

Turn on the beta interface in settings.

Same here, also had problem with nvidia overlay.

It's bad enough that this game is a terrible port and feels clunky AF, but everyone has a damn overlay.

It's funny, because we don't get these Comments in Epic community. LOL, Because we don't use them.

Yeah, RDR2 and Steam Overlay do this dance together every game session. Sometimes Steam Overlay will close, sometimes it won't, followed by the imminent game crash.

It doesn't like the overlay and any use of it seems to lead to a crash.

This is by far the closest, i could take for a win today. Thanks mate.
Dude, mark it as "Solution", that might help guys with same problem.

If you're trying to do something, like buy gold, that requires you to use the overlay, I started the game in safe mode from the launcher and it started windowed and everything worked. Just saying.
