Report a translation problem
Right click on the game in your Steam library, select "Properties", "Steam input per game" and set it to "forced off". Also, while you're at it, deactivate Steam overlay for RDR2 as well which sometimes causes issues too. Who needs the crap anyway unless you want to see the FPS overlay. The controller will still work since it uses the Microsoft DirectX controller API and the game won't crash anymore at startup. Hopefully anyway
Hey, you can do it by right clicking on RDR2 in your library > Properties > General, and you will see the check box to disable it.
