I would have happily told you if I would get the damn game started it keeps crashing (not becouse of my rig)

Mid-Low and you're fine i guess...

My self is running on 1080p with 1070/i7-4790/32gb
With good 45-60 fps and area depending drops to 34

that would be 34 in general for me at its best i guess

30-50 fps on ultra textures and other on med, specs are fx6300 and 8gb of ram, 1050ti. Did not have any issues or crashes or stuttering since launch month ago. Guess im just lucky

i have the same specs . guy on youtube gets 50 on low textures 26-35 on high he doesnt even go for ultra , you are lucky indeed if you get 50:)

There is a lot of solutions that worked for some people like disabling antivirus but anything I tried didn't work for me.Same issue as month ago when I tried to play this on epic games launcher "rdr 2 exited unexpectedly" I can try reinstalling but I really lost faith.

It’s really rare, happens only in the desert or in the interior. There are guides on YT which explains which settings use most resources. Just minimize them and adjust textures or something really important and you will get decent performance

i been playing this game for 100 + hours only time i crash is after i buy something or Browse the books in the Stores same thing happens to my friends , make sure you save after using the store magazine book

i think majority of the problems will be fixed in next patches since so many people having the same problems,it would sux if game wont start after downloading 100+gb again,well good luck dude hope you can fix it

nope, but just minimize fog, light(turn off SSAO, etc) and water physics and you will do fine. Also use TAA

I think if you can find 30FPS with a 1050 ti you're doing well. It was a 30FPS console game remember.

Bitdefender? Then I have the salvation for you my lad. It is always the antivirus when it crash right on startup. Bitdefender has 2 places to make the change and other software only 1. Let me know if you want to know more.
edit, make the exemption in or turn off for a while to test the antivirus as you probably have tried (if using bitdefender) aaaaand the advanced threat defence tab. Many bitdefender users have overlooked the "advanced threat defence" tab and ripped their hairpluggs out.
