Online Error 0x20010006 anybody know a fix?

I play online for anywhere between 2-20 minutes the BOOM disconnect due supposedly an error on Rockstar's end. Anyone have suggestions?

i got that times to times but now.... i can't get in the online at all, it goes to error 0x20010006 all the time.... can't play online anymore... omg..this game

Which ports did you forward? I forwarded all the R* ones from their website, just want to double check. Still having a LOT of error 0x20010006.

Try put your ip in dmz, not the best solution but it might work

This is a network problem that may occurs for a lot of reasons.

I've opened these ports in my router (virtual server / port forwarding) but still got this error from time to time (1 time or more per day)

For some it's using a wireless connection that does this, so try with an ethernet cable.
For some people it's the isp/router that causes this, so after adding the ports restart the router and try again.
And also if you are using ANY antivirus except the windows built in one, uninstall it, reboot pc and it might work.

Or try going into the network config in the control panel, open up the properties for the network card and set dns to manual and add 8.8.8.8 as the primary and 8.8.4.4 as secondary which is the google dns, that has helped for a quite a few on the RDO discord

It's basic network error. Try to reboot your routers / reconnect before reconfigurations.

ps. i dont know much about this stuff but is it safe to change the dns to this one ? should i change it back after ?

google already knows so much, why not use their DNS ?

This disconnecting problem exists since RDO launched on consoles.. messing around with the router doesn't help. It's an issue rockstar needs to fix.
