you are the QA
My warning to you guys is this. If you get in game, DO NOT open the steam overlay. It’ll be stuck and not go away.
IF you so happen to run into that, Control+Shift+ESC and close the overlay is the only way without restarting the game.
Also, if you try to buy gold, it’ll open up your steam overlay for the steam wallet, again, locking it up.
So just be careful. It’s buggy. But when it runs, it’s a fantastic game and performance is amazing for me on 9900k and 2080 standard.
Just FYI.
Best of luck to ya'll
I had the same issue. Just update your drivers and it should be fixed. my game works fine now.
Myself, I dont crash. Obvious culprets being Multisampling. Disable that. Use common sense with ingame and nvidia settings. CPU is still going to be a bottleneck. Even with the 18 year old game, World of Warcraft. Sudden spikes of particles can leave people with a game crash. Thats where Multisampling will stress your system out especially if you are baking in the glory of a hazy foggy area and OOPS.. crash.
Don't overstress your system, use Nvidia Geforce Optimizer as a guide and tweak up intelligently. It's a a gorgeous game even on low settings.
