Gamers do not want games to be realistic, animal skinning (online)

I really enjoy that you can quick skin large animals. That is why I often hunt large animals only. Then there is a medium skin and finally a cutscene skin is the most hated one.

I have played many games where there are some sort of picking, skinning animations.
Take Far Cry Primal, or Gothic 1 and 2. In those few games you can disable animations to loot quicker.

I absolutely loved skinning the very 1st 50 hours of gameplay. But I have played this game for maybe 600+ in total (PS4 too) and it is just a waste of time.

I for one will go to the feedback page and ask them to let us quick skin all animals.
Would appreciate if you left your feedback supporting this too.

I also played a lot of hours (online).

All these animations don't really bother me except that they are unstoppable.

Sure, predator skinning animation going into cinematic is way TOO LONG, others are OK.

it is by far not realistic, especially if we speak about Online mode. How about shooting someone 5 times in the head and them not dying.
Anyway, it wastes our time. obviously i am speaking about online

Well sure, if you just grind your way through it. I like to take my pace. Everytime I go there I treat it like a little vacation. During this vacation I see many people just hurrying and rushing from A to B. Of course when your goal is to "collect all the coins" this is a waste of time, otherwise I wonder why players are wasting this great venue to play the game just like any other game we've seen so far. I would really like to play Cowboys in a realistic setting like this, but I'm surrounded by ADHD kids who either grief, run after their own business or are just plain mute and beyond interaction. Should be called solo online, this ain't no multplayer, it's random encounters if any.

Parking your horse and/or hunting wagon right on top of the carcass *usually* lets you quick skin. Position the horse right and it does not allow enough room for your character to perform the animation.

I agree with most of what you said. I role-play the game, animations are part of the appeal. Even when I do collecting rounds, I take my time to enjoy the environment. This game can appeal to many different tastes, the only time I rush is if I am short on cash so have to complete a collection round fast. Life is too short to rush through it. Take time to smell the roses.

it takes the same amount of the time to place the horse on a dead animal as just doing the animation.

What does riding have to do with standing on top of animal though? You take your horse, you go to the animal, however far this animal is. You park the horse on top (doesn't always work even if the horse is standing on top of the animal), you go off the horse and you press skin.
Now, this is at least 2 animations and whatever riding distance you gotta make, besides not 100% guaranteed.
Now imagine if you killed 5 wolves. you gotta repeat that ♥♥♥♥ over and over?
Besides it is a glitch and I don't see your play hours and you don't even own the game on steam. So it is not like you can actually voice an opinion. Oh and you have the frog meme thing that is kinda what trolls have on avatars these days.

okay let us skin animals faster and make dailies easier but please keep horse poop in the game and also add unicorns and pegasus.... also make it so red players and defensive mode players are the same thing. okay good.
