i use black arabian.
I had the Arabian at first but stopped using it as it seemed to trip over things way more than some of the other horses.
The difference between the fastest horses, and the slowest, is perhaps 2 seconds at full gallop from point A to point B on a consistent course - with the same saddle and stirrups.
In my opinion, you need 3 horses. Each for a specific need. 1 for Races (probably an Arabian), a Multi for missions and everyday tasks (I went with the Kladruber), and 1 for bustin' sh!t up (a War horse).
But if you're a new player, I'd recommend just saving up until you break level 50-ish to go for a new horse. If you must get one, get a Multi one, and put your $$$ into getting a good saddle and stirrups. At higher levels they affect horse stats. Nacogdoches Saddle and the Hooded stirrups pretty much make any horse awesome in terms of Speed and Stamina.
TLDR;
-Race and Superior horses are nimble and fast, but spook easily and have low Health.
-War horses are slower, tough, and brave, but have great Health and Stamina
-Multi horses are middle ground between the above.
-Don't fool with Draft, Riding, or Work horses.
But the black arabian has a better maneuverability
It's not much brave horse tho, be ready to get ditched by it near wolfs/bears/pumas.
I got arabian at low lvls but ditched it for mustang when I could afford it, imho mustang is one of best horses. Very brave, have a lot of stamina(it goes down slower then some horses) #teammustang :))
You cannot stable and bound with wild horses in online.
But it is skittish as all hell... Throws me of for a damn danger noodle...
Stops mid track if it hears a wolf. And might not start to run if I tell it to when being attacked by any animal..
And there seems to be a bug happening with cougars especially.. Always stopps and throws me off... Even if the cougar is far away.
Tried this horse and except big stats like health and stamina it was similar coward to arabian. Even with lvl 4 bound it was so scared about tiny snake when I can kill snakes by accident while galloping on my mustang.. XD #teammustang!
Seems like there might be bug and horses classified as work act like war ones, because mustang is work/war and so far any typical only war horse was coward. I use now appoloosa(work horse) and mustang(work/war). I can look at wolfs's eyes on my mustang and had grizzly on my tail(almost literally I was suprised how fast grizzly can be) on appoloosa and didnt throwed me. Cougar is the worst nightmare of any horse tho.
