Is rdr2pc p2p or dedicated server?

There are posts on this forum claiming that rdr2 online uses p2p just like GTA online. There are a lot of posts on the net that disclaim this. I'm no techie but I would like to know.

By asking this question here you are just opening yourself up to people telling you BOTH answers yet again just like you have found online elsewhere.

Its p2p, every game has servers, so does RDO, but they are not used for the simulation and instead are probably used for handling things such as match-making.

It's a bastard just like GTAO. In the most simple of terms as to not get into trouble. Gameplay is P2P. Payment tied components like R* Social Menu are dedicated.
