So the bird in the OP could have been twenty trees away. The dogs barking in cities are a couple of blocks over, etc.
All the corrals are completely empty, yet you can still hear them.
Story mode doesn't seem to have this problem. The ambient sounds on farms and elsewhere match the animals there. I think they've stripped back these on online (performance related at a guess) but left the ambient sounds.
I think what we'd all want in online, is the sounds to match the animals that are there, like it does in story mode, not much to ask for right?
