Split Point ammo

Does anyone besides me use those?

I pretty much exclusively used those in Story Mode, because they have some sort of dead eye bonus.

Online I stick to Express ammo for rifles, but I use split point ammo in my revolvers.

Is there any actual advantage the spilt point ammo has over all the others online?

Split points are a little bit more accurate and consumes less dead eye compared to express, that's about it. They're not really worth it tho since the advantages are less than noticeable.

I like to make them because being in a different category of ammo, they allow you to carry more total ammo than the 200 limit of the unmodified bullets for the carbine repeater.
