Perfect Robin Exist?
I am hunting for a perfect robin carcass and have killed 8 with a small game arrow and all are good quality. Am I doing something wrong or just bad luck?

Really? I tried a varmint rifle on small birds earlier and never got a perfect carcass til I switched to small game arrows.

I did all my perfect birds for the taxidermy lady with the varmint rifle, don't know what else to tell you.
Try to find one that is sitting on a rock and give it a scoped headshot.

Ill try. I havent found a robin on rocks yet, only flying out of bushes. Theres an area of the Kamaza river with lots of rocks and lil birds but i sat there for 4 in game days and saw no robins. Ive been finding em in the bushes by the Aurora Basin.

You can get perfect ones while flying too. If I remember correctly I went to one of the islands on the lake West of Rhodes.

You will need the Buck Antler Trinket if you're going to be using Varmint rifle to take out very small creatures. It has a chance to give a perfect pelt/carcass but only if the animal was perfect before you shot it.

Some birds you need to use varmint, some birds you need to use bow with small game arrow. Varmints is perfect shooting large birds, hawk, eagle vulture, owl. Study before shooting, or just shoot anything, pick it up.

Try around rivers, I always go to rivers near Annesburg, or just wonder around the field while riding a horse.

LOL. I stay away from online after about 3 weeks of playing it. Story Mode FTW!

I found a perfect Robin sitting on a rock near the mouth of the Dakota River, and I killed it with a small game arrow.

Yes, I forgot about that.
One of the first things you need to get when you start hunting in Story Mode.

If no one has said yet, find the legendary buck as it will give a chance of + quality. The buck can be found north west of strawberry, and i got mine very often on a bridge railing, a good spot was a bridge near a trapper north east of the map.

EDIT: i guess some one did say but either way it be very helpful many times over.
