Also try this just to get past your hiccup point, let Nvidia GeForce or amd launchers optimize settings and start game using the launcher
I always run on Nvidia's recomended settings and start through the launcher, it hasn't worked so far.
Do you think it is more than likely my computer (I have doubts it's my computer because I've never had a problem with this game before, the game runs smoothly) or the game itself?
I think I might just have to wait for Rockstar to update the game.
Look in your in-game graphic settings. You'll see Vulkan or DX12,. Try one or the other
I will disconnect directly
I switched, played the mission again and got the same infinite loading screen. I went and switched back to the other one and got the same results. Hopefully Rockstar responds soon!
do you got a save right before that quest? That save may have gotten corrupt.
Yes, the save is right before the quest. It is the only save I have though. When the infinite loading screen comes on, I have to manually exit out of the game with my task manager. When I go back into singleplayer it spawns me in my camp in Shady Belle before I even accepted the mission. I have to go talk to Dutch to accept it, once I do the entire mission runs fine until after the cut scenes towards the end of it. I should make a new save and start the game over?
