Reshade intro shows up but I never installed it>?
I don't use Reshade much only for single player and I NEVER installed Reshade in Rockstar games because the game looks good anyways. But the issue on hand is I don't understand why I see Reshade icon popping up on top left screen displaying I am running Reshade in Red Dead Redemption 2 PC?

There is no preset nor is there an installation files straight from Reshade folders into my drive I installed Rdr2 ? What is causing Reshade to pop up there? I do know my other steam games have Reshade? They are just graphic filters. Anyone can explain me why is this happening? Bug? Just to confirm this I NEVER installed Reshade into RDR2 at all? How is this popping up in my screen intro of the game? What is causing this? I feel the need to post this issue to Reshade forums and see if this is a bug at all and maybe needs to be addressed.

If you miht have reshade installed for other games that you know of, it can be possible something have picked up some files from it, acting like it pasrt of the install?
And possble that some 'residu' files where stick behind, when uninstalling things.
Try to clean your register with a register cleaning program like cccleaner or somthing like that, defrag your drive, check register, boot up again and see if it turns up again.

I figured it out. Turns out that Reshade seems to install some kind of files left over as a register file into Program Data files. Like where your whole list of stuff where System32 stuff is and etc and every program file. I saw Reshade there. So I decided to delete it. It was gone.

Now I realized if I install Reshade for other games it just pops up in Rockstar games even though I never had any intention to install Reshade for muliplayer or single player. It just recognizes my reshade off the bat but no preset folder because I did NOT directly install Reshade into Red Dead Redemption 2 lol. It's so weird and I think I may need to report this to Reshade devs on forums and see if they can address this issue. This looks like a bug to me.

launch reshade, click " enable/disable reshade in vulkan globally" and see if you have it enabled.
