(solved) Evelyn Miller bug (spoilers)

After the latest update the first evelyn miller mission seems to be bugged. I go to his cabin and the mission "american inferno - burnt out" starts. The cutscene plays, we get on our horses and start going. After freeing the trapped deer and reaching the hunters' camp, I shoot all the hunters and another cutscene starts, except it's not the right cutscene. It starts the mission starting cutscene where we're back at his cabin. So it loops back and I don't know why.

Also, in that looped cutscene, character models are nonexistant, I can only see the environment that they speak in, as in the motion captured actors have not yet been put in there.

Anyone else experience this? What the hell?

ok solved it.

the bug seems to be produced when you press tab just when the cutscene is about to kick in. and naturally, you do wanna hit tab because you wanna holster your gun after the conflict ends. which also happens to correspond to the exact moment when the cutscene kicks in. stupid oversight on programming.

so just don't holster your weapon, don't do anything, don't move. and just let the cutscene kick in.

It's been a while since I figured this out but i think all you had to do was to not touch any buttons. don't click anything, don't press anything, don't holster your gun, don't do nothing, just wait after the shootout ends.

Would be nice if this game would have a better auto save system because it usually just takes one slot for the whole game

This exact same thing happened to me now. And I had to reload a save file to regain control of the game. Now I know what triggers it allthough I never pressed TAB myself, I just turned arround to Miller and all of a sudden the first cutscene started playing again
