21:9 cutscene fix?
is there a 21:9 fix for the cutscenes in this game? It's kind of a bummer to see borders on the top and sides... other than that, the rest of the game looks wonderful on a ultrawide screen.

thank you so much

I dont think R☆ will code the cutscenes in 21:9 just for us widescreen-guys.....but there is a Mod called "FOV 3.0". But.....its a Mod....maybe you get a bann if you use it for online.

I'd kinda like to remove the side borders with cinematic mode, but with cutscenes I get why they're there. Like with a lot of scripted stuff, there's probably things you're not supposed to see past the camera. Haven't used the FOV mod, so not sure if this is definitely the case or not.

Here's a fix unless you already found it.

And, this cannot run online. Just for Single Player. Not very many important cutscenes in MP anyway.

The cutscenes already are in 21:9.

They don't have the remove the pillarboxes. All they need to do is bring the 21:9 cutscenes closer for 21:9 users. Black bars to differentiate cutscenes from gameplay has been a staple of games forever, but it's unnecessary in most cases.

This mod doesn't fix the problem. By removing the black bars and not bringing the picture closer, the subjects are now surrounded by empty space, creating a fish eye effect that ruins the composition.
