And, this cannot run online. Just for Single Player. Not very many important cutscenes in MP anyway.
The cutscenes already are in 21:9.
They don't have the remove the pillarboxes. All they need to do is bring the 21:9 cutscenes closer for 21:9 users. Black bars to differentiate cutscenes from gameplay has been a staple of games forever, but it's unnecessary in most cases.
This mod doesn't fix the problem. By removing the black bars and not bringing the picture closer, the subjects are now surrounded by empty space, creating a fish eye effect that ruins the composition.
