(got it) how does one get the free bounty hunting license

i claimed the benifit thingy and got bolas which are associated with it but i stil dont have the license. Whenevr i try to interact with a bounty board it still asks for gold

I'm pr sure not a single pc player has claimed they received the free license so far.

well they have like more than a month and a half to correct it so time doesnt seem to be a problem. I can wait

I wonder if this is going to be like the free collectors bag if you found the 54 playing cards in GTA 5. They never honored that one also.

That was time-limited and expired in early December, 2019 I think.

To the OP: I've heard people on the RDO subreddit mention that you have to first log in to 'trigger' eligibility for the free Bounty Hunter thing, but that it could then trail a day or two before the game recognizes it and lets you get it for free. I logged in tonight to check myself and had the free bolos in the mailbox, but couldn't get the free Bounty Hunter pursuit no matter which wanted poster I checked.

I'm going to try again tomorrow and see if it turns up. Oddly enough, despite playing RDO for about 12 hours now (over three days), I just now got the '10 free gold bars for turning on 2FA for your Rockstar account' promotion. I guess their system just processes these awards in huge batches or something.

Unfortunately it seems Rockstar decided that only the consoles would get any of those rewards even if we earned them on PC... So if you have RD2 on console you'd get them but PC players get the raw end of the stick as always.
I should be able to get a few things for free including the serial killer's gun but.. Nope.

make sure to go to the benifits menu and claim the ticket called "Free - RDO$50"

Mine doesn't show that. Just a saddle, holster, honor, couple others but nothing to do with the recent rewards.

well keep checkin throughout the week i guess.
i got the ticket instantly. it didnt give me the bounty hunting license instantly but it only took like a day for the system to get back to me.

I don't get how it's so hard for R* to make things instant to eligible players lol
Other games can do it just fine but GTA V & RDO seems delayed to the point where people have issues. Same with Twitch rewards. Really sad.
