Collectors bag outfit slots.

I read on several forums that the collectors saddlebag provides 7 outfit slots, while the upgraded provides just 5. Just bought the collectors and it'll only store 5. Was the slot count changed, or, is this a glitch?

I think that you've just read bad information. The collector bag shouldn't provide _any_ outfit slots. It's just what you have to buy to be a collector, and it's what you use to see what collectibles you have. It has nothing to do with outfits.

I've read conflicting stuff online about upgraded saddlebags being either cosmetic-only or increasing the number of outfit slots on your horse from 3 to 5, but I've never seen anything about being able to have more than that. I have every upgrade from every role as well as the upgraded saddlebags, and I only have 5 slots on my horse.

The collector saddlebags provide 7 outfit slots and 7 hat slots (and masks/bandanas, I believe).
You'll need collector rank 15, IIRC.

And yes, it makes all the improved saddlebags obsolete, as they only have 5 slots.

I wished the collector saddlebag was an upgrade, so you can keep the various designs, fitting your saddles.

Also, if you often switch horses, you might want to buy them for each horse, otherwise the stored outfits are automatically reduced if they don't fit.

I'm collector rank 20, I meant the collector saddlebag and it is not providing 7 slots, only 5.

Did you actually change it on the saddle that's in use on the horse you're currently using?

You have to add it to each saddle you want the slots on.

I did, it just seems to have a delayed reaction before taking effect, I've had a machete vanish and come back and other small odd occurrences as well.
