How were the horses created?
I was told they used tracking on real horses like how "Love, Death, and Robots" did it in one of their animated episodes but I'm unsure if that's true?

Would love if anyone could give me any info regarding how the horses were made!

Must of used the wrong phrasing... ThANk You

Hol up, problem.
The clips they used was taken from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DCkjkCR3gQ and when they were talking was just about horse dialog?

They did a great job on the horses too. It feels pretty damn awesome to ride horses. Horseriding is well-known for being hard to design. I remember alot of games where horseriding is like sitting on a floating brick instead of a living animal.

The names of the horses they mo-capped and the companies that provided them are in the credits, dunno if that helps.

Only way to get animations this realistic is to mocap actual horses. I would venture to say that all animations are mocap'ed and they don't reuse animations across animals to keep them unique and realistic. Most games recycle animation sets across animals to save on cost but it ends up looking odd.

All of the transition animations and so forth are very smooth. Not sure I've seen any jerky transitions between animations. They spared no expense on it for sure.

Even more shocking is the fact that they recorded multiple versions of audio conversations. One for when you are close and one for far away. And it isn't some cheap volume trick. The conversations that are far away actually have different inflection in them and they sound like they are yelling and a bit peeved you are so far away. That is a lot of work and a lot of audio data.
