Do you rly cant own a hair style or makeup after buying it and then switching to another one?
After i buy another hairstyle the previous one doesn't stay free but I have to buy it again. Is this a bug or not?

It does make some logical sense that it would cost money to change your appearance every time, since in real life, you have to pay the barber every time. However, I'm pretty sure that with regards to stuff like saddles, guns, and horses, once you buy a particular style, you can switch back and forth for free. So, in that regard, making you pay to change your appearance when you had that appearance previously seems inconsistent. However, I've never been interested changing my appearance, so I haven't messed with it, and I have no clue what the intended behavior is.

If I were you, I'd probably just report it as a bug. If it isn't, it just costs you some time, and if it is, it might encourage them to fix it. Also, if enough people report something as a bug when it isn't, then that might result in them making changes (be it changing the game's behavior or at least making the intended behavior clearer): https://support.rockstargames.com/categories

But some cost gold and tokens. That's just a ripoff.

Since you can pay the tokens for an item in either the progress menu or where you buy it, I'd be very surprised if you had to pay the tokens more than once. They normally act more like something you have to pay to unlock an item rather as part of the actual price. If you've paid the tokens in the progress menu, then they don't even show up as part of the price anymore.

So, while it may or may not be the intended behavior that you have to pay cash or gold every time you change your appearance, I'd be _very_ surprised if you ever had to pay tokens multiple times for anything. Certainly, if that happens, it should be reported as a bug, since you have a limited supply of tokens, unlike cash and gold, which you can always earn more of.

Really? Weird. When I go to my hair stylist, I design a style and then pay for it, and I 'own' it. Next time i can just walk right in and get the same for free. OP seems to come from the same place. I'm surprised that people still get fleeced by their barbers these days.

It is intentional, as haircut is not a hat, and there are no wigs in the game.
GTA works the same way.
