Same as the previous ones without dist, ie maybe the first price were the gamer gets special edition instead of standard etc.

10% higher then epic, doesnt epic claim they target their games lower because they give more to the dev :DONT THEY

no they just take less from the pricetag...

example epic takes xx% from £30
steam takes xx% from £30

both cases dev gets more(or)less profit depending where game was sold. steam/epic effectively gets paid for doing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, so devs prefer epic. ironically rockstar dont have to worry about money and could have said to steams new rule changes suit yourself we can absorb this and we think most will defy you and buy it, and really changed things...

but to a small dev team a larger cut is no small factor to overlook

Their marketing point was that offering a bigger cut to the publisher they would get better price for consumers, that didnt happen at all. only old titles.

and steam give publisher cushion, statistics, etc.....there is a reason EA folded and decided to sell here again.
well still getting paid for nothing, not a bads days work

servers that keep with your cap speed, logistic, community, etc nothing, right......do you even pay games with your own money ?
no i pay for them with yours, and they get paid for nothing
Rockstar has total contempt for steam users at this point in time. They gave no release date up until recently and still no game price and the game is released tomorrow... what on earth is going on here.
i dont blame rockstar for any of that personally they make the game, they own the game, and the move was to make extra money directly with a 100% cut... i really have no issue with that

Q. Do i believe, Steam, Epic, or even Rockstar give a ♥♥♥♥ about me ?
A. Not at all

Q. Do i give a crap about either steam, epic or rockstar ?
A. not at all

I have no issue but many steam fanboys do have issue. Rockstar top management all sat down one day and looked at the figures, numbers and costs. They all decided that releasing on their own launcher and epic for a least one month would make them more money. Then release on steam and mop up the rest of the player base. Steam might be the biggest and baddest but no doubt, rockstar did the number crushing and came up with a figure that suited themselves and their investors.

Steam should of got involved and though about the community first and said to rockstar, look we charge you 10% fee to release on here. Valve should of been prepared too lose money to please its fan base. Just my take...
yep ive had that thought as well, steams latest move was one to try and combat epic rather than as you say devote kindness, its all profit and is my overall argument...

i still say to everyone get it where its cheapest, these companys do not care about you, they care about themselves, the markets, and the margins
