Any way to play RDR2 with less(ish) violence?
I can handle violence in games as much as the next guy, one of my favorite games being Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. But I'm curious if it's possible to play RDR2 as a, I guess, semi-pacifist? I know you're an outlaw, so looting and murder just come with the package, and the main quest line reflects that, but I was wondering if you can go through the game more or less avoiding violence when you're out exploring the world and engaging with NPCs.

you picked the wrong game, go play Minecraft bruh

You kinda can. Dont fight back. If there's an ambush get away from it, if you see a gang camp/hideout dont go for it. Stuff like that, but you would be missing out on a lot of content

You've never fought an Iron Golem with your bare hands before if you think that minecraft isn't violent.

Jokes aside, you, OP, picked the wrong game. Kill 'em or leave it.

Wait until you start skinning rabbits, that kind of shocked me the first time..

Almost like peeling a banana.. :(

I avoid killing whenever possible. learning to use the lasso/hogtie helps a lot.

You also get some interesting dialog...

That's actually pretty realistic.

I killed and skinned my first rabbit at age 8. Of course, I went to an elementary school that let out for squirrel season too...

What are they teaching you young'uns these days?

Ok, yeah, that makes sense. And I can take ambushes and stuff. I don't have any problem with the fighting. I'm more thinking along the lines of murdering civilians. Probably should have mentioned that in the post.... lol

You can pretty much totally avoid killing non-lawmen/gang members.

I never kill anyone who doesn't shoot at me first. And, if there's just one hostile, you really can lasso and hogtie them as easy as killing... It's amusing to hear them while you ransack their house.

Try it on old lady Watson.
