Is Creating A Solo Lobby Against ToS?

Title.

For those who don't know, there're a couple of ways to create solo lobbies, most of which only last as long as you stay around your campfire - which is perfect for doing distant Trader deliveries without any unwanted interruptions, from cheaters and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ alike.

Most of them seem a bit like glitches/exploits but I haven't heard of anyone getting banned for it.

Yes absolutely. First offence is 30 day ban and wipe your progress. Then permaban.

Being doing it since June no ban yet. Heard ppl doing for longer without ban. Heck, I did Bogdan glitch on GTA online for a year without a ban (and still no ban).

Yea If you cannot play invite only this game will remain off my computer and Have a Neg Rating sorry rockstar but until this is changed because of hackers and that.

as for the OPs question, from what i've read online it's not actually possible to glitch into a solo lobby, the games servers will figure it out in like 30 seconds and automatically patch you into another server, so no it's not possible.

No, they won't ban you for using a config file to launch into solo lobbies, I've been using one for months, and leveled every role to max without any issues at all. It's a simple xml .meta config file that just sets up a private, password-protected lobby that any of your friends with the password can enter.

R* doesn't care, as people can and still do make in-game purchases of gold in solo lobbies, so they aren't losing any money.

He explains how/where to install it in about 60 seconds, and even includes a link to the file and a cut/paste copy of it in his comment section. Lots of folks on here have been using it for months with no issues/problems.

the OP was talking about glitching the lobby, like the way people do with gta online.

this is not the same thing, but apparently it works.

Be warned though, with this method one cannot replay/start online story missions, you have to remove that file then reboot the game.

I replay story missions to get dollars and xp, with that file in place Matchmaking just looks for teammates forever til it eventually fails to search,

Just something to remember if you like story missions.
