Weapon Customization bug?

This may be intended or not, but I do have the game on PS4 as well and I swear I could buy/change weapon and material inlays at the gunsmith, I can't even buy them now despite having the money for them.

Is this a bug? Or a feature?

I have the same issue on PC ... June 2020 and bug still exists but this is topical for Rockstar. They release the game, work on bugs for a few months, and then abandon it completely plus ignoring users.

engraving, metals, wrap, stock etc? You should be able to. Focus the gunsmith and select the (cant think of the word...aahh) option that isn't browse shop stuff.. modify or something.

Yes, when you focus the gunsmith there is "customize" option but that doesn't work either. It worked for a day, next day it doesn't.

I turned off all trainer's options except money (ctrl+num 1), and it works for me. (while shopping)

Same is happening to me. When I try to look it up, people just say to clean the weapon but mine are clean as diamonds. Everytime I try to change the metal, engraving colour, grip colour (not the pearl and the ebony grips) It's annoying af. It works just fine on Xbox but not on PC

So, assuming you are using mods its because of infinite item mods/cheats trainers provide.

Try with the base game or ask for assistance on installing mods properly.
