I can tell many people haven't played the game, it explains why Arthur doesn't sleep with hookers or go after the ladies. He lost a son and woman he loved, because other outlaws killed them to get to him. Now he doesn't want to make any other woman a target because of him.

It would not fit the story but I agree she is the best candidate. Arthur really feels like a true gentleman throughout the game even though you can play as a murderous scoundrel. I think they view themselves as modern Robin Hoods although that is always walking a fine line between common criminal and someone who robs from the rich to give to the poor. Inevitably those two paths will cross and the lines become blurred.

I didn't truly understand what was going on with Sadie. I thought we killed her husband and didn't understand she was actually being held in her own house against her will. So while we did cause her house to be burned to the ground Arthur and company did not kill her husband. For a bit to me it made no sense why she would join up if we did kill her husband.

Some of the story is a bit difficult to follow at times. Maybe b/c I did not play RDR 1 but so far R* has done a pretty good job of explaining it....with a few gaps here and there.

im pretty sure the guy in the wagon was the husband, and the O'Driscals killed them. and thats why she hates the O'driscals the whole game
