My gpu fans go into overload when I play for a hour or 2, luckily I got a full tower vented case with 4 external fans
What's your cpu temp at during load.
The fact you say it's runnin for a hour or 2 then locks up leads me to believe it's heat related, its a fail safe for your components so it doesn't fry.
Get an air duster and blow out around your heat sink fan on the cpu alongside your gpu and external fans. Try playing with your case cover open with a small fan blowing on it and see if it improves. If you can play beyond your 1 or 2 hour window, then you know.
Good luck!
You do know that is Celsius and not Fahrenheit. Your reaching 158 degrees in Fahrenheit. Hot enough to freeze up or kill your PC.
yeah so hot it burned down my place.
I have 16GB of RAM as well and there was one time where the game crashed as Windows ran out of virtual memory. I fixed that though by increasing the size from 10GB to 16GB.
