Terrible facial animation idle ruining character design
Can someone tell me why my character keeps rolling her lips up into her mouth or gasping for air? half the time she looks like a fish the other half of the time she looks like she is trying to eat her own face.

Im not "too hot" or "too cold" im not hungry, wounded, winded or otherwise suffering from status effects other than being underweight, yet my character is constantly scowling, grimacing or otherwise animating her face in a way that makes the in game character look nothing like the character creator or barber version.

Sadly that happens and there is nothing that you can do to remove it.

Having said, you can reduce the frequency of that A LOT by going in online options, then select walking style, and change to either refined , casual and I believe greenhorn. Walking styles incorporate not only a walking style but also a kind of facial animation.

I have the same problem with my character, I had to put him a long beard to cover his ridiculous lips

it helps quite a bit, yet whatever you do do not select the gunfighter, or you will be stuck with a almost permanent lip rolling face

That's exactly what I was using, switching to casual fixed the problem. Thanks for the help
