Walk everywhere?

Personally, what I'd really like to stop is my character from making noise when he's trying to get the horse to speed up or slow down. The reins and his knees are plenty to control the horse. Having him make noise is completely unnecessary, and it scares animals off even if you're just trying to slow your horse down enough that it isn't making enough noise to scare the animals off.

love it when your on heists and the NPC says hey lets be quiet them proceeed to talk in a loud voice like we taking a casual stroll, happen in more than a few missions as well.

Good question. I like to hunt and my horse, Barney, has been making lots of noise as I have crept up on my targets, fortunately wild horses are all over the place so maybe other animals are used to their sounds. I did have a case yesterday where my horse was very quiet, but I don't know what caused it to be.

Maybe I'm being told I'm too lazy and I should dismount and creep up on foot, but on open plains that extra height from being in the saddle is a help.
