Epilogue - an honest day's labors Help

got through the entire main story without any issues whatsoever amounting to around 50 hours of play time, first part of the epilogue worked fine until the mission "An Honest Day's Labors" - when im meant to equip my binoculars at the top of the cliff with sadie, either nothing happens or i am able to look through them where nothing follows. if i try to die and reset from the next checkpoint, the game crashes. i seem to be the only person i can find who has this issue so some help would be appreciated :)
(fyi i've also updated my graphics drivers and verified the cache on steam but it still won't work)

you gotta fail any mission 3 times to be able to skip gameplay to next cutscene.

Easiest way to fail is to blow yourself up with dynamite.

cant fail it, if i kill myself the game crashes cant run away because no NPCs work its as if the whole world froze except me

Try it. same result I get stock in the loading. I just give up. And I have too much hour to refund the game. To bad because I do enjoy the story.

Download 100% save file from Nexus and just replay missions from that point on, that will let you enjoy the story.

defetes the purpose, i dont want other peoples work, i want my own work. i want to play the game my way, and not use other peoples work to do it

mine have this bug too but now i can have those option sneak. threaten, open fire. its fixed whitout verify cache/reinstall/any stupid rituals

you need to on foot then crouch and go very close to sadie then target sadie(to open option) before sadie finish talking and wait until option come up.

if still not work then try to delete all Lenny's Trainer or mod.

if still not work then try to suicide 3times and skip it

i uninstalled the game. i wasnt using mods, i did try a save file editor to fix it, and that didnt work. i just gave up, i want to play the mission not skip it and play others to me it is kind of stupid to have this big of a game breaking bug and for no modders or the devs themselves to find a fix. and its not uncommon either, i found alot of people with the same bug on a google search.

and what part of you cant fail do you not understand, kill yourself 3 times to skip, its almost like you cant read, killing yourself crashes the game. running away freezes the game. so failing the mission cant happen.

SOLVED!!! If you're using Lenny's Simple Trainer, delete version.dll from your game directory. This will break any mods or trainers that require LST, such as Red Dead Offline, LST, Outfit Changer etc. but it will allow you to play and complete the mission. Afterwards, just put version.dll back into your game directory and those mods will work again. If you have RDO you will have to repurchase the multiplayer items that are added to single player, horse equipment, navy revolver, elephant rifle, bolas etc. Hope this helps!

Thank you! I tried removing all of my lml files and other mods like many suggested but Sadie continued to glitch and the mission refused to progress. I was getting frustrated since it takes so long to get back to the glitch point in the mission to see if any of the changes worked.

I completely looked pasted the ASI loader since I figured all my other mods were removed so it shouldn't be affecting anything. Sure enough as soon as I removed version.dll I was able to play the mission all the way through.

I had the same issue. I verified the game files. steam detected 3 files were corrupted and reacquired them. A total of 30 GB re-download and it was fixed
