Cripps Packing up Camp? Online

Hi,

Just wondering why ol' Cripps keeps packing up my camp randomly and i have to reassign it?

And if its possible to stop him doing it!

Part of the problem has to do with what happens when the location your camp was in previously is now occupied - be it because you quit the game and came back or because you did something like join a free roam event (which seems to put you in a separate session temporarily) and then got put back in normal free roam afterwards. When that happens, the game usually tries to put the camp in the same region that it was in, but it can't always do that. Sometimes the result is that your camp simply isn't placed, and you're told that Cripps packed it up, and sometimes they just put your camp in a completely different place on the map.

In addition to that, there seem to be bugs with setting up your camp when you join a session, such that sometimes, your camp gets put in a different place even though it doesn't need to be or even outright doesn't get placed. Sometimes, when it doesn't get placed, it's just glitched out to the point that you can't even place your camp, and sometimes you get a message about Cripps packing up camp. I think that I've occasionally also seen Cripps randomly pack up camp for no obvious reason, though fortunately, that doesn't seem to happen often.

All in all, it seems to be a combination of trying to deal with having multiple camps in the same region (or even the same spot) when players join a session and there being bugs with regards to camp placement. AFAIK, there is no way to fix the issue. Rockstar just needs to fix the bugs.

its probably the influx of bloods in the area recently. primarily the mob piru.
