Do I need to manually copy my save files to new pc?

I just finished building my new PC and just installed RDR2, when I launch the game, progress isn't saved... Isn't it linked to my steam account?

Hmm, I double checked and apparently there is no steam cloud save option like my other games...

If I'm not mistaken, Rockstar has their own Cloud Save from their Launcher. Again, I could be wrong.

If you still have access to your old hard drive, and you still haven't formatted it or its windows partition, you can access your save files as they'd be located in the documents folder.
But if you can't access those files for whatever reason, and you don't have the cloud save on (R* launcher settings), then you're fresh outta luck mate.
