Jewelry for trinkets

So, I might have done a big ♥♥♥♥ up I'm not sure, I have manged to get my hands on gold earrings and silver chain bracelet. And thinking it works just like with the trapper and camp upgrades, you sell/donate the stuff to the fence so that you can "use" them for later...
Well after checking with the fence now when I have the possibility to create a trinket using silver bracelet, the bracelet is gone?

You're not supposed to sell them to the fence I'm assuming and keep it in your inventory..?

The best place to get such jewelry as replacements is from robbing rich-looking ladies in Saint Denis. :) Near the Mayor's place you can get out quick over the bridge.

So I'm guessing that jewelry doesn't respawn like food in those places?
And ♥♥♥♥ me... robbing? I'm playing honorable path... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Also, that's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, that you throughout the game "sell/donate" stuff to use them for crafting, but here they say, "♥♥♥♥ that logic you're supposed to keep it all"
How the ♥♥♥♥ are you supposed to know that? That's the most stupid thing they could've done tbh...

Stuff does respawn in most places, actually. Not sure if it will be the exact pieces you want, though.

Actually when you sell/donate to Pearson, for example, it says in the donation window whether you are donating a thing for crafting or for funds. So, if you donate a perfect pelt for crafting neither the camp or the player receives funds for it.

Does the stuff in watson cabin respawn? Because if it does, you can just reload and redo?
I just looted the place both times, before the gang is there, and when the gang gets back.

Yes they will. I'm not sure if reloading makes a difference, it might be random either way, but worth a try. :)

That's what people say they did when they didn't get the earrings, they just reloaded
