Is completion percentage inaccurate?

I've only completed 6 of 6 missions in chapter 1 and 13 of 18 in chapter 2 with barely any side quests done and it says I have 32% game completion? Doesn't the game have 6 chapters and 2 epilogues in the main story alone?

I'd say it's accurate.

Don't worry. It takes a while to finish the story.

I think it took me ~55-58 hours, and I was rushing through it because I loved the story.

Isn't game completion also based on everything else, like weapon collection, animal track/kill/skinning, and more?

nope only main quest. All the side stuff you doing is mainly for achievements.

Uh no? To get 100% completion you need to do all that side stuff as well

You don't need to do EVERY encounter but you need to do a lot more then just the main quests

I don't think that's correct.

My save says that I'm 30.2% complete.

The "Progress" section next to my Compendium says that the story is 16% complete in my current playthrough.
