Report a translation problem
Really rockstar?
I had that problem before. It went away after I restarted the game a couple of times, but when I reported it, customer support's response was basically that I should verify the game files (which of course were fine), and they came across like the problem had to be on my end for some reason instead of just putting it in the bug database like they usually say that they're doing.
Camps are ludicrously buggy. They love to move randomly or even not be there at all, and sometimes, the game simply won't let you place or move your camp until you restart (which is especially annoying when you have pelts or carcasses to give to Cripps, since stupidly, you lose anything on your horse when you exit). Fortunately, I've only had my camp show up on the map without being there once, but it's clearly something they need to fix along with all of the other various camp-related issues.
"Alright, I'll clarify this for you. As of now, we are not aware of any issues with our servers and if you are not able to access the Online features of the game, it is completely due to an issue with the network that you are using."
So basically, the fact that there are 1,000's of people experiencing this issue, it is the official position of Rockstar that Online is fine and it is the players issue.
Thanks for this reply. So they actually think the issue is on players end and not their end? hmm.... The amount of times I have the error saying that the error is on Rockstars servers yet their response to you is its not their problem.... oh lol.
Did we all just get 76'd?
I have screenshotted the support conversation and am posting far and wide...
Maybe, once they are inundated with 10,000's of complaints, they might see an issue that they are currently blind to...
I am on fibre optic that is stable and I do not experience this issue on ANY other online game platforms.
I play DCS, Conan Exiles, The Isle, MW titles, BF titles...
All online without any issues...
Yet, since installing RDR2 and starting online play, I am plagued by disconnection error messages atleast 8 times in a single gaming session.
(Each disconnect is followed by atleast 7 failed attempts to join 'free roam', 'camp', 'posse up' or my posse...
They've stayed on my horse at least some of the time (I'm not sure that it's been every time), though it may depend on whether they stick you on a different server after the event is over. Either way, the way that pelts don't always stay on your horse is incredibly annoying.
The biggest problem with Rockstar is they are allways silent. No communication at all. Sure that´s nothing news. But ppl would calm down if they would a bit more communicating to the playbase.
