Blue light and stuttering
Has anyone had a large blue light suddenly block the screen while riding through the area near to the main camp?

Also, I noticed that if you Alt-Tab to check desktop and return to the game, it starts micro stuttering or tearing when the camera is moved. I am using the 'fast' sync option.

if i play 4 hours it may happen 3-4 times but its pretty easy to resolve. either just keep moving the mouse around in all directions or just change to first person and its gone :)
Just saw this blue beam of light myself not a few min ago in blackwater next to the post office after hitching my horse, it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. Just what in the world is it exactly? A glitch? Hacker having a laugh? My card melting?

this is normally the sign of a graphics card starting to malfunction or die. do you overclock your gpu?

nope its a new card and its only happening in this game

you should try running a gpu stress test like unigine and see whatt happens there. this could be dealing with faulty drivers or windows. also not to make you worry but sometimes a faulty gpu will show artifacts during certain games while not showing in others.

also do you overclock?

Same problem here but no stuttering just a blue light that randomly appears, it will start small then fill the whole screen and i have to move the camera around a bunch to get rid of it.

Its 2023 and Im experiencing this problem too. I have been playing single player mode with no issues for around 20 hours and during my first session online as well as my second session, this blue light issue occured. Is there no plans to fix issue? Every forum post that I can find that talks about this issue is 3-4 years old.

Disable Windows Game Mode
Disable Xbox Gamebar

If you ALT+TAB out of RDR2, when you go back to the game again, press ALT+Enter
