Really? That is even worse.
I've made 36 gold bars in 8 days, simply by doing the daily challenges and a couple of stranger missions each day.
This will get even more, as the multiplier for the dailies increases up to 2.5x.
You'll also get treasure maps from ranking up, which give 1-2 gold each.
I'll soon have 40 gold for the Outlaw Pass, which immediately will retroactively unlock everything, including 40 gold bars.
It's not very feasible for those who barely have a full 12 hours to play per week. Buying a bit premium currency here and there for special occasions is called for, if only they are priced fairly. $10 is just not fair for me, when I can get Witcher 3 on sale for that price, as I live in a developing country with extremely low salary averages.
But I don't know if that was available on PC or just consoles, I never looked into purchasing gold.
