RDO: Why's gold bar prices in my currency $10 for 25 gold bars? Isn't it supposed to be $5?
I bought the game on a lowered price (regional pricing) and now it wants to charge me double for microtransactions? What the hell even is that?

I might actually buy a few gold bars if it was priced fairly for us poor fellers from crappy countries, but in this instance, I can say with utmost confidence that Rockstar can f*ck off

You don't really need to buy gold bars.

I've made 36 gold bars in 8 days, simply by doing the daily challenges and a couple of stranger missions each day.

This will get even more, as the multiplier for the dailies increases up to 2.5x.

You'll also get treasure maps from ranking up, which give 1-2 gold each.

I'll soon have 40 gold for the Outlaw Pass, which immediately will retroactively unlock everything, including 40 gold bars.

It's not very feasible for those who barely have a full 12 hours to play per week. Buying a bit premium currency here and there for special occasions is called for, if only they are priced fairly. $10 is just not fair for me, when I can get Witcher 3 on sale for that price, as I live in a developing country with extremely low salary averages.

I think I recall people mentioning a one time deal where you could get like 25 for $5...

But I don't know if that was available on PC or just consoles, I never looked into purchasing gold.

the fact that the 4 main things in the game are locked behind this currency is absolutely crazy.. but I did invest 19.99 and get the 55 bars.. then got the pass and unlocked collector "which I didn't realize you can get for free with TWITCH prime" anyways I have now unlocked the butcher table and I have 46 gold bars.. I might unlock Moonshining but I'm not sure.. still paying an extra $20 to unlock features in the game makes me a little salty..
