Rescuing Sean Mission Glitch please help

I'm on the mission where you rescue shaun from the boat in Blackwater. I'm stuck on the cliff overlooking the boat in the spot where I'm supposed to pull out my binoculars and observe the situation with Trelawny and Javier. I tried everything, looking at the boat with the binoculars does nothing, it should trigger the rest of the mission but nothing happens please help ♥♥♥♥

I'd trying messing around with where you are exactly in relation to the other two guys and/or the cliff. Sometimes, missions won't continue unless you're close to a particular spot.

Ok so the fix for me to get the mission to keep working was to set my graphics settings to Windowed mode. As dumb as that sounds, it worked. Rockstar.......come on rofl

Same here, started the mission several times, looking at the boat with binoculars but nothing happens. Will try the windowed mode thing.

I forgot to come back here and confirm that the Windowed mode fix in fact worked for me. Super dumb but Rockstar has to Rockstar lol
