I feel the tom boy looks and styles more fitting for our character and what where doing where basicly doing mens work so seems fitting where dressing more like men then dressing more Feminine.
I think the fashions really well designed cause even tho they have the tom boy look they have a elegant and light Feminine touches to the fashion.
But they also do have dresses and other tradional fashions for us to chose from but i dont like dresses.
As for side saddle thank gosh they don't have that id be offended!! I like the way we ride the horses now and love how they implimented Female character in game it feels more natural and fitting for the game and our action's and how our character would be like in such an era us being more Tom Boy like and not Lady like to be taken more seriusely amoung the men in that era not the typical woman of that era.
That said I personally like the fashion selection they have and i love the modest clothing and really happy with it and glad its not typical over the top flashy sexist crap so common now in games for women characters.
Some of us perfer to dress modest thank you very much and also love the style of modest clothing and makes us feel more comfurtable.
Its a game made by neckbeards for neckbeards
Judging by its quality the whole Online is one big accident.
I've purchased the game as an early access, with hope to see actually developed game 2-3 years later. Maybe they'll create better characters.
Although I'm fine with the animations. Much better than in the recent Ghost Recon Breakpoint, for example.
I've only really delved into single player so far, but I like the animations. In RDR1 there weren't animations for skinning, but mini cut scenes that faded to black and ruined immersion/pacing completely. This is in the same spirit, but better executed. I've never felt as involved in a character's actions before.
You'd probably run like Arthur Morgan
I too would prefer not having my character run like an animal, but that's just the way they decided to go with this animation, it doesn't look gendered, just silly at best.
I don't see what you mean by "Female" animations, could you clarify ?
As for the sidesaddle animation, it's most likely due to avoid issues with the on-horse blendspace, although there's not much reason to have the sidesaddle animation Female only considering there's no actual dresses.
All of you are delusional af.
Having female-oriented clothing isn't an outlandish idea.
