Got killed in Defensive mode and white flag up in camp

I was afk in camp with white Flag up and in Defensive mode Still got killed by a player. Anyone else get done like that?

Yes that happened to me too. I was afk but my m8 was there and two people came along... and somehow attacked me, hogtied me while i was in Defensive at my camp with flag up. No idea how that happened.

But apart from that. Modders can spawn animals and hostile NPC to kill you too. Not sure if there is any way to check a combat log. If not, I hope they add one in.

Defensive Mode does not equal invincible to other players.

It only makes it harder to mess with you and of course hackers could just kill you.

If you really are being grief/hacked by other players you can report them under the Online Menu > Players

Sure, but what about the camp with raised white flag? Isn't that meant to be safe zone?

I've had my flag lower on it's own before when I was standing right next to it. Hackers are a wonderfully bad thing and can do some pretty crazy stuff. Even saw one zipping around in a hot air balloon the other day.
