Model Swap Mod Not Working

Hi! I'm trying to get the model swap mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/17?tab=posts&BH=0) to function, but when I replace the files needed in Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles and boot up the game, no changes happen. I am consulting the Steam forum rather than the mod page itself because I am wondering if this is an issue with Steam and the filepaths.

You have to load the save game you have overwritten.
I think its an 7% save game from 2019. november 7.
