Best role for beginners? (Red Ded Online)

Just started Red Ded Online today. What is suitable role for beginners who are just starting out?

Trader, And when you do delivery missions do short distance not long to better decress chances of other players attacking you they can't see you move cargo on map.

Trader gives good exp and if you also do the supply missions gives exp to trader and rank role it also a great way to learn the basis of the game with out too much stress and risk while making good money and exp.

Bounty hunter, Not greatest exp or dollar cash but best for gold, It also the funnest and my fav role.

Collector is the hardest for me cause im bad at treasure hunting if your great at maps and such collector probble mite be better for you. Collector my least fav role cause im bad with maps and lack patients to search for junk.

The Moonshine the most complicated and highest risk role with the most work needed out of all professions its kinda similer to trader with the production of it but more complicated,
if your not careful you could lose money and at start of the role more likely u will struggle earning money with it and the cost of upgrades and things is high.
Moonshine my 2nd least fav role its funner then collector but both roles i hate but moonshine is also probbly the hardest role the story missions can be very hard alone.

I could explain moonshine and roles more but best to lookup guides on them.

Collector is the fastest, you can use the online maps, they update all treasure locations every 24 hours and you be on lvl 20 in 1-2 days. Good for starting money too.

trader is ♥♥♥♥.. trader gives zero money lol..

collector all the way. just use the collectors map online and farm each collectible there is per day and you will make around 4000 dollars for 5 hours of collecting.. i've done that for a 2 weeks and i'm rich. i bought everything the game has to offer. EVERYTHING, even the useless stuff like some camp upgrades etc. ofc maxed out my ability with lvl 3 cards etc.. just everything the game has to offer...

and i'm still sitting on 20.000 dollars and 86 gold bars. after 160 hours of playtime and that said, the first 50 hours i made literally nothing as i had to get those 15 gold bars first for the collectors bag...

trader compared to collectors is trash for moneymaking. only worth to level it for the unlockables, same goes for bounty hunter

In my opinion it's both trader and collector at the same time.

Don't play trader to maximise profits, at least in the early ranks of the role, play it as a passive role and you'll chew through levels in no time at all.

There's guides online that tell you to only focus on one carcass at a time when playing as trader and not to skin the animals but I've found that cuts the XP gained drastically and proves to be quite dull and repetitive. If you go treasure hunting with the maps you get as a collector and kill then skin every animal you come across you end up with a lot of experience, role experience and a decent amount of cash while also exploring the map and being able to take on stranger events as they pop up.

I started RDR2 Online today, went with trader first without having a clue what to do and tried to stalk plains where animals roamed with a bow and arrow but that was a waste of time. I ended up roaming around following the treasure maps and skinning any animals along the way. I'm now rank 20 and I'm level 50 on the pass thingy they have. I had a lot of money too, like 1k+ playing this way. I started to stop making money as fast when I focused specifically on farming one area for one animal carcass to bring back to the butcher table.

If you kill and skin animals you get the experience for killing the animals, a bunch of meat you can sell(Which adds up when you have full stacks of 20 in meat storage) and you can use the hides for materials as a trader. It also seems like your horse can carry limitless amounts of skins too. On top of this you'll get a bunch of experience and cash chasing treasure and using the treasure maps.

you know so far everything i've read from you was trash, complains and trolling... you must be an angry and frustrated dude in real life rofl..

collector is the only way to go if you want to make enough money to buy everything ingame without having to play it for months and hundreds of hours.. with bounty hunter, moonshiner or trader role it would take maybe 400-500 hours to get as much money as i made in 100 hours with collector :D but yeah, some ppl just love wasting their time :D

sorry if the truth hurts you... You weren't playing the game, you were cheating by looking at an external map and then going to the exact location and getting the treasure. You didn't really earn the money and it's why i have three times more gold than you, after i already spent a ton on bling.

Collector is fine if you need some quick cash to buy that horse or upgrade a gun, otherwise its pretty unbalanced and at the end you just become a high level noob. some people actually enjoy the game and want to actually earn their cash.
