How to switch to ironsights on scoped rifles

the IMFDB page shows the player aiming down the iron sights on the carcano rifle but i cant figure out how to do it, it would be useful as sometimes i dont want to use the scope on some of my guns. I just want to shoot with irons on the carcano rifle because it kinda looks like a mosin nagant

It doesnt work on sniper but if you have a scope repeater then its scroll up.

i know thats how you toggle the scope but on the games imfdb page it shows the player using the iron sights while they also have a scope on the side of the rifle

Interessting pic but is that even a carcano? Looks more like a bolt action to me either way snipers cant even remove the scope.

yeah it is the carcano, if you check the regualr full imfdb page it shows a full view of the rifle , it also shows the rolling block rifle using iron sights.

Yeah you are right the carcano does have iron sights but you cant use them sadly.

some console guys on reddit said press on the Dpad while aiming but im not sure if he just ment scope view

There are 3 types of aim.

Regular 'aim' over the shoulder (RMB).
Zoomed aim (rebound mine to mousewheel)
Iron Sights (default is [ or ] ) - must be in first person mode to activate.

Can change between iron sights and scope with the mouse wheel

sadly you cant do that with snipers, id give up all my ability cards to be able to do that.

You can't do it with the carcano rifle. It's the default to be zoomed only.
