I am going to be upgrading to a 1660ti as I don't find the performance jump from a 1660ti to a 2060 worth the price tag, you're literally just getting an entry level card for Ray Tracing, which many games don't support yet and because of that I didn't go for it personally.
The 1660ti is probably the best 1080p card out on the market right now.
As reference here is benchmarks for a 1660ti vs a 2060
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2060-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1660-Ti/4034vs4037
does 16% is a problem or its okay?
Thanks for the 1660Ti suggestion...do you have same CPU as mine?
Yes, I have the 7700K, just means I can overclock it if I wish.

So I guess with 7700K, you can use GTX 1660Ti right, no bottleneck?
Yep, I'll be fine, so you will be good as well.

Says they will work great together.
RX 5700 is only 3-4% slower then the GTX 2060 super.
You can flash the bios on the RX 5700 for another free 10% performance improvement.
Unless you can find a GTX 2060 super for same price as a RX 5700 the RX 5700 is the best deal.
Does RX is from AMD? If yes then I never use AMD lol...always use nvidia
Never using AMD is your loss then.
Why not buy the best product that you can get for your money?
No i wouldnt buy an AMD card if i could buy a 2080 super or 2080ti but you are not in that position.
For the same price as a standard RTX 2060 the RX 5700 is clearly the better card.
It is, yes.
And if it is AMD's equivalent to the RTX 2060, then you'll still have the same bottleneck from the first post.
If you are only worried about 1080p gaming, then I'd suggest the 1660Ti, it's cheaper than an RTX 2060 and RX 5700 and won't bottleneck your system if that is your concern.
Idk, because I hear Nvidia is better than AMD. So Im not sure about AMD card
There is no worse or better, both are just Graphic cards and both just are that.
You shouldnt blindly follow Nvidia (or AMD) but just buy with gives the most performance for the money you are willing to spend.
If you got money for up to a RTX 2060 then for the same money you get more performance from an RX 5700.
Nvidia being better is only in the top of the line cards like the 2080 super and 2080ti because AMD doesnt have a card yet that fast.
There fastest card is a RX 5700XT wich is 3-5% slower then a 2070 super but also a good bit cheaper then the 2070 super.
Dont stare just at a name, look at your budget and buy what you can afford and give's the most performance.

The 5700 is slightly ahead of the 2060 and also has 2GB more Vram.
For the same price the 5700 is just better.
