BOATS IN RDO
Anyone know where boats can be found in Red Dead Online? Mostly for fishing around lakes and rivers and stuff really.

Ive been trying to get alligators and go dynamite fishing but i cant get to the fish!

Around Saint Denise but sadly you can't use a fishing rod on a boat.

Hi,

You can fish on a boat, just press E and select your fishing rod.

I have tried the canoe as well as the steam barge and I go to the wheel and the rod cant be accessed.

You have to press E like when you want to dismount your horse.

Thanks for the info guys! I found out (Like CuT is explaining) That exiting the boat will make you stand up and then you can use the rod!

What boat are you using just tried it with the steam boat and the flatback row boat neither worked

I managed to use the two man river canoe, I just pressed (Y) and my character stood up and the boat just acted as a walkable surface so I could use the fishing rod.

Woa, Sorry I thought Id done this on story mode. Just tried it online and it didnt work for me neither sorry.
