Legendary Fish - Trout glitch?

After long attempts i've finally caught the fish, but he isn't crossed off the map and mailing him does nothing.

I also have this problem, 3 fish are not blacked out, although the quest is fully completed.

Apparently it’s just a visual a bug and didn’t effect my completion.
