And the idea of Vulcan is performance while direct x is compatibility.
And yes Performance under DX12 is worser than with Vulkan.... (And also my loading times with DX12 are crazy long ! i dont know why) so I stick with vulkan
I think with vulkan the graphics are better
If the game is indeed better looking on Dx12 I doubt i'll ever give Vulkan a second chance in future titles. It did seem strange to me to step away from Dx as it has always been superior to previous contenders, but then I hadn't really heard much about this vulkan thing so I thought i'd give it a try. I guess I should have expected graphical issues much like opengl in older titles.
OP is correct, switching to Dx12 improved clarity and removed graphical artifacts such as pixelated shadows from my screen.
Vulkan is officially banned from my PC. It's just a shame I didn't bother to try this before reaching epilogue part 1. :'(
Yes nvidia CP is easiest way, you could also try reshade/sweetfx/enb or any similar apps.
Now to decide which is the lesser evil..
